Battambang, Cambodia – May 9, 2025: This November, the streets of Battambang will burst into life with creativity, colours, and cultural celebration as Phare Ponleu Selpak and TUI Care Foundation present the 4th edition of the S’Art Urban Art Festival. From November 3–8, 2025, the city will become a vibrant open-air gallery, welcoming artists and visitors from around the world to celebrate this year’s inspiring theme: “Colourful Cultures.”
Supported by the TUI Care Foundation, in partnership with Phare Creative Studio and Murals for Cambodia, the festival will offer an immersive lineup of events including large-scale mural paintings, mural competition, nightly live performances, exhibitions, hands-on workshops, artist talks and the highly anticipated Art Parade through the heritage town of Battambang. It will bring together a dynamic mix of Cambodian and international creatives to share stories, express cultural identities, and collaborate on meaningful artistic projects.
Colourful Culture, as an extension of the global TUI Colourful Cultures Programme, celebrates the richness of Cambodia’s artistic landscape while welcoming the diversity of cultures from across the world. Artists from across Southeast Asia and beyond will come together in Battambang, not only to experience Cambodia’s vibrant creative spirit but also to share their own cultural narratives through art.
More than an art festival, S’Art is a platform for social connection and sustainable impact. It promotes cultural exchange, strengthens Battambang’s creative culture, and supports sustainable tourism. Visitors can immerse themselves in the city’s fast-growing arts scene, engage with artists, and witness how urban art brings communities together and transforms public spaces.
True to its mission of empowerment through the arts, Phare Ponleu Selpak continues to support young Cambodian talent through education and opportunity. To support this mission, TUI Care Foundation has deepened its commitment by providing scholarships for 25 students at Phare Ponleu Selpak and support the upgrading of our performance training space. These scholarships support young Cambodians in pursuing professional training in visual arts, music, dance and theatre.
