PUBLIC SCHOOL

The government run public school at Phare Ponleu Selpak has room for 1000 children and teenagers from primary to high school.  Regular training is provided to the teachers in order to maintain the quality and standards of teaching.

KINDERGARTEN

Phare Ponleu Selpak is dedicated to providing a nurturing and creative environment where young people can access quality arts training, education, and social support.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Founded in 1998, the Child Development Center offers diverse activities for the young people of our community. Over 200 children and teenagers take part in leisure programs and workshops.

This center provides a safe space for children outside of school and allows parents to focus on their own development.

LIBRARY AND TUTORING

In the library young people can read and study quietly. They can participate in reading and learning activities organized by the librarian. The library is filled with books in Khmer, English, and French; and computers with internet access.

The Education Department also offers a tutoring program free of charge for teenagers. It’s an opportunity for them to reinforce their Khmer, English, literacy, or computer skills.
